  Should I ...
go on my date tomorrow night? So I have a date with this guy Jason. He seems really nice, funny, etc. I discovered tonight while talking on the phone that he still lives at home. He just got a full-time job last month so he says he is saving up and planning to move out in a month or two. I am not sure how I feel about that...is that horrible? Too picky?
Have I told you lately I HATE the dating game? he he

Comments:
I think you should go ahead and go on the date.

What have you got to loose?

Unless there's some weird vibe you're getting from him or something....

I hear you on the 'still living at home' front. Big red lights go up for me, but I agree with big pissy. Go on the date. One date doesn't mean anything and who knows, if he is really just living at home while he gets back on his feet, what's wrong with that? It may have been a wise decision. But I don't know the guy, so go with your gut.

i had some friends that lived at home with parents that were pretty cool

living at home doesn't necessarily mean he's a lamer - he might just have a choice gig at his parents' place

suppose he has a sort of separate suite over there

suppose they're away a lot and it makes sense for him to live there and look after their place

lots of potential reasons

maybe he just came home from travelling extensively...

then again - he might be a slacker mooch

check him out

it's only one date

He could have had some weird sort of circumstances that forced him to move back home for a while...he's not necessarily like that comic book guy Carrie dated on Sex and the City. Remember that one? :)

It all depends on how you feel...if it makes you happy to think about being with him, then go for it! You can always 'forget' to return his calls later.

I'm about the last person who should be giving advice on this subject, but hey. There it is. ;) Good luck!

Okay, so I am going. Details later! Thanks for the advice :)
